Austin Rail Constructors (ARC) is a joint venture between Stacy Witbeck, Inc. and Sundt Construction aligned to pursue the Progressive Design-Build (PDB) light rail project in ATP’s Project Connect program. ARC brings nearly two decades of collaborative experience in building, expanding, and maintaining urban transit systems. As an employee-owned team, we share a commitment to safety, collaboration, and innovation at every stage of a project. With deep expertise in planning and constructing complex projects in dense urban environments, ARC delivers solutions that prioritize the needs of the community, our clients, and our subcontracting partners throughout the design and construction phases.

Working together, the ARC team has successfully delivered seven urban transit projects, as well as an impressive portfolio of experience that includes multiple PDB and dozens of CM/GC projects nationally.

The ARC construction team is supplemented by our lead design team, Mott MacDonald and Stantec. This partnership brings together two industry leaders and a dynamic team of engineers, planners, and transportation experts dedicated to creating a revolutionary light rail system for Austin. With over a century of exceptional design experience for rail projects, their teams have provided rail design services, system planning, and station development solutions for virtually every major transit agency across North America.
